Unlike most other network management programs, NetSetMan allows you to change the network settings directly from the main interface. Some profile settings are configurable on the main interface, while others are only available after activating the program. The "network domain" setting in the NetSetMan interface will give you a short overview of your current network configuration. The "proxy" setting will show you which settings your browser uses to access the Internet.
NetSetMan is easy to use and provides an intuitive overview of all your settings. The main interface has six separate entry fields and is particularly useful for users who aren't familiar with network configuration. You can enter complex settings here, but it is important to remember that they are only accessible once they are enabled. The "Open dialog box" is based on this concept and allows you to switch between configuration profiles instantly. You can also create notes that you can save to help you remember the purpose of each profile.
Once you've configured all your networks and IPs in NetSetMan, you can start and stop the program. You can also switch between different profiles at any time. Each profile contains multiple subprofiles, so it's important to organize the settings in the right order. To arrange these profiles, you can either drag-and-drop or use the right-click context menu to reorder them. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts to switch between different profiles.
